Complete the requirements

For you to earn your California Broker License, you must first have the following:


  • An active California Salesperson License
  • Two years of full-time experience as a real estate agent within the last five years

Enroll and complete five courses

Get started on your journey by enrolling in our Broker License Package. Here, you'll complete five required courses with our easy-to-learn program and get your license in as few as 90 days (You must wait 18 days per course before taking the final exam. 18 x 5 = 90).

Apply for your license and pass the broker state exam

Now that you have your five-course certificates, you can mail your application packet to the Department of Real Estate (DRE). Don't worry. Our friendly, knowledgeable team is dedicated to helping you apply. They've put together a thorough checklist to ensure you have everything you need.

What to expect


If you have a California Salesperson License, you only need to complete five of the DRE-approved courses. These five courses must differ from the three courses you took to take your California Salesperson License. Each course has required chapter quizzes and two attempts at a final exam.
